Finding Beauty Within (And Not From A Bottle)
Imperishable Beauty is about cultivating an inner heart that praises and glorifies God. It’s about finding our identity, beauty, and worth in Christ and not in the things of this world. Imperishable Beauty is about teaching our children how to cultivate a beautiful heart that loves God and seeks His ways.
Through regular weekly and monthly features, you’ll be able to find good resources, meet other moms with words of wisdom to share, find practical tips and participate in discussion about how to cultivate your heart (or your child’s heart) in specific ways.
As a housewife of nine years and homeschooling mom of three– Princess 7, Drama Queen 5, Little Prince 2– I strive daily to find and live out Beauty in Christ. All the while, I’m attempting to train my children to do the same, especially my girls who will one day be wives and mothers themselves.
In addition to writing, I also enjoy taking care of my family, organizing and running my home, singing praise & worship songs, serving and being actively involved in my church, and being creative with my hands. In everything I do, my desire is to glorify God. Soli Deo Gloria!
Finding beauty not in outward adornment, but rather seeking the beauty of the inner self - the unfading and imperishable beauty of a quiet and gentle spirit, a spirit completely in love with Christ. Finding beauty not in acceptance and praise from the world, but instead as a child of the King. Finding beauty not in beautiful things, but discovering beauty in our beautiful God. Finding beauty not in self, but in God's creation and in others. This sort of beauty will never fade, never grow old, never wrinkle and gray. Quite the opposite, this beauty will grow with each passing day, as we grow in our walk with Him.
