I’m stepping out of my comfort zone y’all. I’ll be growing as a writer, a blogger, and prayerfully as a child of God. What am I talking about?
Inspired what? Inspired Bliss is the new faith channel for Blissfully Domestic and will be launching next Monday (if you go look at it there’s stuff there, but it’s only posts from their main channel - place holders until next Monday.)
And guess what? YOURS TRULY is going to be one of the contributing writers.
That right - li’l ol’ me.
Why? What do I hope to gain from this? Besides the expected benefit of increased traffic to Imperishable Beauty - I expect this will help me strengthen and hone my writing skills (they want me to be BRIEF y’all - no rambling allowed.)
It will also be a step in growing as a blogger. In the sense of “everybody who is anybody is guest writing or contributing to some other site.” Okay, that may or may not be true - but it IS true that it’s a means of personally bloggy growth.
It will also keep me accountable for posting regularly on Imperishable Beauty - since that will be the blog name I post under.
Mostly, I really want the monthly devotions I write (yes, monthly - baby steps) to be beneficial and helpful and encouraging and.. real. My goal is to cut straight to the hurting heart and offer truth, hope & encouragement.
Don’t think I don’t know that’s a tall order!
I’m kinda getting cold feet.
Kinda.
But I’m stepping out. With trepidation. With excitement. With a big, goofy smile on my face from both of those.
Hope to see y’all there!!

Hey Amber, how are you going writing for Inspired Bliss? I had cold feet too! Look forward to reading your devotions!
